Colby Metal was founded in 1986 with one goal in mind: launch a customer-centric business with a special focus on the details and quality. Not surprisingly this approach resonated with our customers and we have experienced substantial growth since the mid 90’s.

We’re located in a 49,000 square foot facility in Colby’s industrial park and employ over 70 dedicated team members on two shifts, including a quality control management staff and maintenance department.

We’re proud to support our community, vendors, and employees by providing a safe, environment-friendly, challenging, and rewarding place to work. Many of our team members have been with us since we opened our doors over 30 years ago.
Owner Mark Viegut has been at Colby Metal since it was founded in 1986, and with over 30 years of experience, he'll always make sure you get the quality and service you deserve.

Working with all aspects of the plant at Colby Metal since 2005, Travis Kind knows the ins and outs of metal fabrication. He can bring any project or idea you have to life.

Just as Darla Viegut takes care of the employees of Colby Metal, she welcomes each customer as if they were family.
