My home on Century Drive in Mukwonago had basement flooding due to heavy rains and snow melting, several times over 10 years, causing major damage to my finished basement. After several repairs over the years, two years ago we again had major flooding issues so I got estimates from 6 different contractors to try again to solve this problem. Chris Wilson from the Mudjackers was the only one who presented a reasonable solution at a fair price, based on an inspection report ... from a structural engineer. His solution was to mud jack the concrete sidewalks by the front & side of the house, landscape the yard on the back & side of the house with French drains, hooking up the rain gutters & sump pumps to drain tile connected to the ditches at the end of the yard, put in a large berm to channel water away from the house and repair the window wells. In the basement, he put in drain tiles and a sump pump along one wall, replaced or repaired 3 windows and installed 41 steel braces on 4 walls. The materials and work were custom designed to solve my issues; and he made sure that everything was done properly. He and his crew were very knowledgeable, hard working, always explained what they were doing and answered any questions I had. They always cleaned up at the end of each day and treated my home as if it were theirs. The project was scheduled for 2 weeks and they completed it on time and on budget. I am completely satisfied with the work that was done and know that I made the right decision to hire him. I highly recommend the Mudjackers to anyone who needs these services. After researching on replacing the driveway with asphalt or concrete, I decided to mudjack the problematic area with a fraction of the replacement cost. This is the second time I hire this company. The first time they did a great job and two years later the work holds well. The reason for this is they use enough material to support the raised concrete without leaving any gaps under it, which, if present, they would eventually give in. One day I found cracks in my basement walls. Called two companies to have estimates, one was mudjackers. They are we're always prompt and on time gave a great estimate knew what they were talking about and did the job in a timely fashion. They cleaned up everything before they left everything looked good and done properly. So glad I went with them and not the other guys, would highly recommend them to anyone for any foundation repair.
The Mudjackers completed a foundation repair in our home (helical piering, etc). They were recommended by a structural engineer we had out to consult. From the estimate to the job completion, they were an absolutely wonderful company to work with. Chris came out, gave a fair and complete estimate, and answered all of our questions prior to the job. (We had a lot of questions and he was patient and professional.) The crew arrived when planned and completed the work on time. ... These guys work hard. And, they were friendly and personable. When unexpected issues were found upon excavation, the foreman and Chris reached out to the engineer and were able to pivot the plan to accommodate needed changes without skipping a beat. They also were very mindful of concerns we had regarding dust and environmental/health issues that could occur with a job of this size. Excellent communication from start to finish. Brenda on the phone was great. Chris was very knowledgeable, professional and thorough with the estimate. Bob and his crew are work horses. Bob answered all of my questions and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. I got at least 5 estimates from different companies and Chris was the only one who recommended fill dirt for the project. He told me upfront that there was another expense to this project separate from theirs.... Honesty like that is rare and should be appreciated and awarded. They did a wonderful job and left the place clean afterwards. Explanation of care afterward was given. We again have a front stoop anyone can climb onto, instead of needing a ladder to get up! I was very happy with their work. They were under contract with my neighbor and needed to remove my fence. Someone came to my door and promised to take it down, put up a temporary fence for my dog, lay down boards to protect my grass, and replace the fence when they were down. I was nervous but I gave them the go ahead. They were very professional and did exactly what they said they would and even laid down extra grass seed.
Crew showed up on time and was very professional. They completed the job on time and cleaned up well after they were done. The work looks great, I would use The Mudjackers again in a second for any crack repair.

I recently got 4 quotes for Mudjacking. I decided to go with the Mudjackers due to the 2 year warranty and the cost. I came home yesterday after they mudjacked my driveway to find everything in PERFECT condition. They even fixed a few spots in my driveway that were missing small pieces of concrete. Bob provided us a clear plan for realigning the concrete sections of the driveway, answered our questions, and was flexible in working in a couple of extra areas all within a very reasonable price. He and his crew did an excellent job! Now all the rainwater and snowmelt flow away from the foundation; all the expansion joints are even; and transition to the garage and the street are smooth.

My experience with The Mudjackers definitely was positive. The estimator gave a detailed drawing of the work to be done at a fair price. The professionalism and skill of all staff involved was very apparent even when there was a glitch in the work to be done. That speaks volumes about the work ethic of this company. The Mudjackers did an excellent job excavating and filling in for a foundation to an existing sunroom. It was a complex job requiring coordination with the company putting in the new foundation. Mudjackers worked hand in hand with the other company and completed their job better than expected. Their work crew was always friendly and helpful to me despite working in cold, sometimes frigid conditions. I highly recommend Mudjackers.

The Mudjackers came when we expected (a little early even), surveyed, marked, jack-hammered little holes and started filling. They cleaned up the entire area so clean, it was cleaner than when they started (fall leaves are a pain)! Excellent work, reasonable price. Wow.
